I made this piece in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. This huge fabric disk was made of used clothing dyed red and hand stitched together.Half the circle is hung from sabre-shaped hooks in the wall; the other half is draped on the floor and held down by antique irons.
